Privacy-by-design data analysis for rheumatology care

We have been selected as 1 of 10 innovations in the Ureka Mega Challenge, an innovation competition of UMC Utrecht. Together with Professor Jaap van Laar, rheumatologist at UMC Utrecht, we developed an application of the Linksight platform for insights into rheumatology care. With our software solution, data analysts can look across the silos of healthcare and include data from other parties in their analyses without compromising the privacy of individual patients. This gives the healthcare provider insight into the integrated effect of treatments, even if they take place elsewhere, and can coordinate accordingly. This is especially important in rheumatology care. Trends and results of administered care can also be identified, providing insight into what is most effective for certain patient groups.
