RIGA sets up secure data collaborations with Linksight
January 2026The “Regionaal Integraal Gezondheidsakkoord” (RIGA) has selected Linksight as its platform for privacy-preserving data analytics. RIGA is the collaborative network of nearly all healthcare and social care organizations and municipalities in the Westland, Schieland, and Delfland region in The Netherlands.
RIGA connects local healthcare organizations with various partners from the social domain. The goal is to pursue a healthy society in which everyone has equal opportunities to live a healthy life. Effective collaboration requires insights from multiple datasets; however, sensitive personal and organizational data cannot simply be shared due to GDPR regulations and the need for digital trust, thus making it a significant challenge.
With Linksight, RIGA can perform analyses on data without sensitive information crossing the boundaries of healthcare organizations and municipalities. Raw data remains stored locally and under the control of each participating organization, while advanced cryptographic techniques enable joint insights. Linksight’s privacy-preserving technology allows RIGA to address regional challenges in a data-driven way without compromising data protection. This allows RIGA to identify patterns and optimize policy, while citizens can trust that their data remains secure.
Around the themes of Healthy Living, Residents in Vulnerable Situations, the Elderly, Acute Care, and Digital Transformation, RIGA is contributing to the shift from care to health. Together—and in collaboration with residents—RIGA works on existing and new projects that contribute to better health for everyone.
